Jaclyn Kietzman

Jaclyn is a Senior Assistant Director in Undergraduate Admissions at Caltech. She is from the San Gabriel Valley and is a proud first-generation college graduate. She earned a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at California State University, Northridge (CSUN).

Jaclyn has served 15+ years in the field of education. She has spent most of her career in outreach and college access, from presenting at K-12 schools across the Los Angeles region, to welcoming visitors for campus tours, and hosting open house events you can see her passion for promoting higher education to all students. She truly believes that college preparation starts in elementary school and that everyone in a student's community plays a role in their success.

Currently, Jaclyn is finding the next generation of scientists and researchers, to find solutions to society's most complex problems and challenges. The time for change is now and change happens in classrooms and labs with the brightest most passionate people in STEM.

1. What is your dream vacation destination and why? Italy. Already been but now I want to share the experience with my two sons and visit their namesake: Piazza San Marco and Lucca.
