Learning everything you can will help you submit the strongest admissions application possible. But we want you to get to know us for other reasons.
Caltech is not for everyone. The work is intense. We're a small, tight-knit community. And we're really, really into science and research.
At Caltech, you're going to get a unique college experience. Attending an online information session or requesting information is a great way to see if we're a good match for each other. Note, Caltech does not consider or track demonstrated interest; nor do we track if a student has participated in a visit or information session when evaluating a candidate for admissions.
Virtual Experiences with Caltech Students
Join us online with your favorite beverage for a 45-minute Coffee Chat with a Caltech Admissions Ambassador or tune into an hour-long Techer Talk featuring a panel of current Techers. To keep Coffee Chat sessions small, we limit 6 prospective students per chat. Techer Talks include a formal presentation about student life followed by a Q+A session with current Caltech students. Admissions Officer Q&A
Watch a pre-recorded Information Session at your own time. A link to the video will be sent to you after registration. On the day you registered for, join a Caltech Admissions Officer for a 45-minute Q&A session. You’ll be able to ask follow-up questions to the pre-recorded Information Session and listen in on the questions from other guests. You do not have to stay the whole time and can exit the session as soon as your question(s) are answered.
